Rig 1: Fully Custom Hood Mount

Look for hard mount integration, problem solve any lack of hard mounting options, and integrate a custom rig with maximum adjustability. This rig builds off our core skeletal structure under the car and uses PEOVIs for camera mounting.

Rig 2: Motorized Slider & Mini-Libra

A standard hostess tray can only get you so far. In this build we take it a few steps further with a motorized slider and a mini libra head. We talk integration, stability, and adjustability in this build. Plus we get to play with some fun toys.

Rig 3: Modulus-X POV Extension Rig

Modulus-X has become a work horse for a lot of the car rigs I do. It provides a rigid structure for rigging that doesn't need much more additional support. We stick the camera off the car for this rig and discuss how to secure the truss properly.

In this course we will cover

1. Vehicle Hard Mount Points

Identify reliable vehicle hard-mount points and learn how to adapt grip hardware to secure them — from under the hood to under the car.

2. Specialty Hard Mount Hardware

The specialty clamps, threaded adaptors, and hardware we use to hard-mount into vehicle points. We go beyond suctions and deep into real grip tools.

3. Complex Camera Mounting

PEOVI mounts provide precise adjustability and rock-solid support for complex angles and offsets, giving you more control over camera placement on advanced rigs.

4. Triangulation & Adjustability

How we set ourselves up for success on the day with adjustability & triangulation stability. Rigging the camera onto the car is only half the battle.

5. Pivoting During a Challenge

Watch real-time troubleshooting as we revise builds, reinforce structure, and rethink angles when rigs flex, shift, or refuse to line up.

6. Workflow & Team Communication
